Harvest Apple Basket

The basket of apples card I'm sharing with you today reminds me of my Dad's abundance of apples from his little orchard every year in Iowa.  He was always proud to be able to send home different kinds of apples with me after I became an adult so I could make apple pies, applesauce, apple butter and apple crisp for my family!  What a treat! Kitchen Sink Stamp set Harvest Multi Step Clear Stamps supplied the basket, apples and sentiment.  I'm always amazed at how realistic the fruit looks when you use so many different ink colors to create it!

    Your basket of apples looks amazing with the gingham background paper, Jeanne!! I can just image the wonderful collection of apple recipes you must have from those times of abundant apples!! Why can't we grow apples in Texas??
