Harvest Apple Basket

The basket of apples card I'm sharing with you today reminds me of my Dad's abundance of apples from his little orchard every year in Iowa.  He was always proud to be able to send home different kinds of apples with me after I became an adult so I could make apple pies, applesauce, apple butter and apple crisp for my family!  What a treat! Kitchen Sink Stamp set Harvest Multi Step Clear Stamps supplied the basket, apples and sentiment.  I'm always amazed at how realistic the fruit looks when you use so many different ink colors to create it!

Harvest Blessing

With Fall comes pumpkins, however, I have yet to see any for sale at the local grocery store.  Using Kitchen Sink Multi Step Clear stamp set Pumpkins and Harvest sentiments, I put together a fall card where the pumpkins look so realistic when you have several colors stamped.  These multi step stamp sets are so fun to use, especially with a Stamparatus or Misti and they turn out so perfect.  I paired the stamp set up with some Basic Black and Tangelo Twist card stock  on top of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up.  Hope you like it!

Autumn Leaves.

I thought it was about time for a beautiful fall card.  One of my favorite little friends is featured on this card, also.  I have a squirrel that comes almost daily to visit our bird feeder.  She has a family of babies someplace but she depends on us to provide supplimental her diet for her family.  I enjoy watching her cute antics stretching and hanging on our rot iron bird feeder to enable her to reach the sunflower seeds!  Mind you, we have corn in a squirrel feeder on our oak tree back there but she obviously enjoys the sunflower seed more! I used the Kitchen Sink Multi Step Autumn Squirrel Clear Stamp set to make the leaves, squirrel and sentiment.

KSS Sets used in this scene include:

Color Recipe for the Squirrel:

Layer 3  - Stampin' Up Cajun Craze
Layer 2 - Stampin' Up Sahara Sand
Layer 1 - So Saffron

Color Recipe for the leaves:
A mixture of Stampin' Up
Cajun Craze, Real Red, Mossy Meadow,
 Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green

Paper used:
Stampin' Up Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze
Painted Autumn DSP Stampin' Up
5/8 Inch Burlap Ribbon Stampin' Up

2 Inch Stitched Thinlet and 3.5 Inch Scalloped Punch used
