Daffodil in Black

My post today features the  Spring Daffodils Multi Step Clear Stamps and Words 4 Celebration Clear Stamps, sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. I stamped the daffodils on SU Whisper White, then followed up with Versamark and embossed them with clear embossing powder.  I swiped my black Momento ink stamp pad across the area and then wiped off the glossy daffodils with a soft cloth leaving the black background. After running them through the oval framelit, I mounted them on SU Crushed Curry and then on SU Garden Impressions DSP. This is the first time I had tried this technique and was very happy with the results.  I hope you will enjoy the card, also.
I'm entering this in the Stamping sensations, July in my Garden.

Recipe for my colors and layers in the order I stamped them:

Color Recipe for the Daffodils:

Layer 4 Crushed Curry SU
Layer 3 Daffodil Delight SU
Layer 2 So Saffron SU
Layer 1 Barely Banana SU

Color Recipe for the Leaves:
Layer 3 Old Olive SU
Layer 2 Pear Pizzazz SU
Layer 1 Certainly Celery SU

The card stock and ribbon used were from Stamin’ Up:

Basic Black, Crushed Curry and Whisper White,
 along with Garden Impressions DSP.
Oval thinlets and the tiny butterfly punch
from SU were used in the design.
The ribbon used was basic black 3/8" shimmer.
