Pretty Cardinal

This pretty cardinal, or one just like him, hangs around our bird feeder daily.  Apparently he loves the sunflower seed we provide for him and his family.  I've enjoyed watching the female and young ones come and go but the male is magnificent looking.  This Kitchen Sink  Multi Step Clear Stamp Set is called Winter Cardinal and it really was a challenge for me to get it lined up on the paper but it turned out almost as beautiful as the real Cardinal in our back yard!  I'm always amazed when I use four different colored stamp pads how true to life my cards look.  Thank you Maria Colosimo  for selling stamp sets that turn out so beautiful.  It certainly makes the designer look professional! I wish that the picture showed off the designer paper better because it has copper foil leaves on it so I mounted the Cardinal on copper foil backing to match. The sentiment was taken from the Kitchen Sink Poinsetta Stamp Set. It really turned out nice, I think.
